Renovation project of a single-family house with pool

Situation: Palma

The house is located in the iconic neighborhood of El Terreno. The buildings in this district are characterised by their classical language. The project aims to integrate itself into the environment and blend classic style with modern nuances.

In this house every detail has been taken care of to the maximum, creating unique elements. Iron elements such as railings, staircases, pergolas, porches and iron windows stand out above all.

The dark iron elements contrast with the lighter-colored elements, adding a touch of elegance to the overall design. The floors throughout the property, as well as the bathrooms, are made of natural stone.

Combined with walnut wood and light colors, a cozy yet contemporary atmosphere is created.

The carefully chosen color palette has been used both inside and outside to integrate architecture, interior design, and landscaping under a single concept.

Part of the commission involved reorganizing and designing the outdoor spaces. In the lower garden, an outdoor SPA area has been created with a swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna connected by terraces at different levels and landscaped areas, creating an oasis-like atmosphere.

A unique element is the infinity pool, which has a glass front along its entire length, thus allowing visual communication between the different levels. Not forgetting the detail of the sauna porthole, which allows visual communication with the bottom of the pool. On the roof terrace there is an outdoor kitchen with barbecue and a chill-out area to enjoy spectacular views of the Bay of Palma.
